    I still have no idea why builders of 100+k cars don't install a standard fire system.

    Perhaps something along the same lines as: Seatbelts? We don't want anyone to think the car isn't safe.

    must have been some pretty intense heat to melt everything except the rollbar...jeez

    the v-10 mule does not look any different from the standard r8 with exception of the larger intake right behind the door.

    that certainly doesn't make audi look to good. Lets just hope it was a freak accident and that not all of them are proned to the same problem.
