Has any one carried out any work on the metal work on the floor under the car.

The roads around here, where I live had taken a toll on the underside. I have since raised the car to stop the damge but i need to deal with some damage /rust.

The main culprit is the car wide panel under the main floor of the car, roughly under where you sit. It is a fitted panel and is not listed by ferrari. I have spoken to them and no luck. I cannot beleive I am the first with the problem. It looks like I will have to fabricate a new one..

Has anyone worked on this and what is between this panel and the main floor ?

ALso anyone have any tips on restoring damge to the wishbones etc from paint chips,as they are powder coated.

A brief look at the parts manual for the QV turned up part #60059607. I have purchased them and installed them before. I have seen many new ones. I suspect they did not know what you were talking about.

Ricambi has the parts books available on line on his site so you can avoid such obstacles.

I am surprised there are so many parts questions here when such a resource is so easily accessed.

    hi
the parts I refer to are not listed by ferrari . I have checked the parts manual , I have the full version , and had a chat with a ferrari service mechanic who remembers making one from scratch in case i had missed anything. It seems these parts are condsidered part of the shell and therfore not listed.

I am after anyone whe has worked on this area who would be happy to share their experience, before I start on it at the end of the summer

Looks like part 22 in the diagram linked to below. Ricambi has it for US$348.

Or are you looking for something else, because that sure looks like what you describe.
