Was up racing in Topeka all weekend and on way back through in OKC looked up to see a B-17! What an unexpected awesome surprise. Had a yellow tail, thought it was Chuckie's out of Arlington, TX. Fuddy Duddy also has a yellow tail, but turned out to be Liberty Belle. Picture isn't mine and older.

Saturday went through the Forbes Field Combat Air Museum in Topeka. Went through as kid with my dad and each year when I race up in Topeka I go through again. Too bad they stopped flying them about 12 years ago.

Here is my thread and pics from last year, didn't take camera this year and everything about the same.

Boy, they are still beautiful but I hate to see that 1945 nose dome even though it was better to look through than the old one. Too bad they can't retract that tail wheel too.
    Thanks.
