    I'm noticing a strange phenomenon. Sometimes, when turning usually left to go up a bit of road incline, the car starts rhythmically "jerking" in first gear. Very---jerk----jerk and gets worse if I give it more gas or even less gas. Settles down after I let off the gas completely. Very irritating and possibly dangerous. Has anyone else noticed this in a 360 with F1?

    You can replicate this with a manual too. It happens when you clutch out and don't give it enough gas so the engine is just at the point where it's about to stall but it doesn't and it bucks your car. It gets worse when you give it some gas so you have to clutch in again to stop it.

    Get your PIS settings checked, and see if the clutch is grabbing too soon without enough slip

    Could it be the ASR doing it's job? Try switching it off on the same patch of road and see. Just dont get in over your head if the road is unsafe!

    Thanks for info, I'm not 100% sure what the "ASR" does, how it works and when to use it/shut it off?

    That happened to me the first time I floored it in first...luckily I got ahold of myself and put it away before the cop pulled me over. I just really, really enjoyed the power.

    This is most likely cause. If you give it a lot of gas in a turn you get wheel spin. With ASR on the system will back off the gas and you can get an osculation.

    With ASR off you will spin the wheels and the car will step out.

    Are you by chance at near full lock, with old tires and cold temps (less that 45 degrees F)?

    My ASR can be overbearing if I am on a slope and want to gas it a little too. I am hopeful that is what it is for the OP.

    What rpm?

    Are you downshifting from a roll down to 1st gear and letting off the gas and reapplying?

    This is normal under that type of driving. Take the turn in 2nd and avoid downshifting to 1st gear while moving and applying/lifting off throttle

    F1s are highly reliant on throttle position.... Fussy in fact. I have induced a CEL a few times by "confusing" the ECU with my footwork and paddle shifter actuation.

    ASR = Anti Slip Regulation.

    When I had my 360, I remember it getting in the way a lot. I would routinely switch it off... in my F430 and now 16M, the nannies are much better behaved so I tend to leave them on.

    ASR yes but also simple friction dynamics on the clutch (for whatever reason). It's like when you slide your thumb or finger across a smooth surface like a counter top or glass. At a certain point, you will either meet or exceed the friction level of "grip" on the surface (here it is the clutch disc and flywheel). When you are close to that point with a consistent application of force, the fingertip or clutch disc will hop and skip in a cycle with a low frequency vibration or buzzing effect. Like "Squeaky Clean" but not pleasant. ;)
