    Had a talk with chief of one of most respectable exotic dealerships in Germany, who had just returned from Frankfurt and from Ferrari factory visit. He told me that in near future there will be some unique limited production 599 GTB. He dont told what exactly it will be, but it can be Spider aproximatly same as Superamerica or 599 with panoramic roof similar to 612 Sessanta. I asked him why there is no mules spotted or any other spy photos and he answered that this is secret and when this car will be presented all production will be sold out. Could it be true? I have not got any information not here neither in magazines and spy info on the net. May be anyone here can add something on this topic, may be anyone can prove information I have or say I am totally wrong. Any information would greatly thanked.

    Well there will be a limited edition 599 in a few years. The 599 was only launched last year, it's too early to bring out a special version. Towards the end of the run I would imagine. The same with 550 Maranello/550 Barchetta and 575M/Superamerica

    Amazing. I hope they won't end by making some limited series like they did on the 612 (i can respray my car to make it unique, too), and that it will be a coachbuilded piece from pininfarina.

    I agree this seems to be very logical. 575 Superamerica was launched year before end of the production. Ferrari is making few special editions of 612 Scaglietti, like GP Edition for Switzeland, special edition for Japan or 612 Sessanta to celebrate 60th birthday because of not so high demand on this car, just to get more attention to this car, and it seems to be logical step. But there were some rumors about 599 GTS spider in 2006, then there were rumor that production is delayed because of sensationally high demand on 599 GTB. But with Ferrari anything is possible. Guess we all will be glad if there will be 599 GTS spider. Sure it will be killer.
