What i do right now is I work for Wells Fargo Bank N.A. as a Home Equity Collector....

What i want to do is Work on cars ether old school 40's, 50's and 60's hot rods or work on Ferrari's and Lamborghini's Or anything that deals with Diesel.

What i Enjoy doing is being around cars, working on them going to track days and auto shows..... Ever since i got a ride in the white LP560-4 that GPI has it has pushed that need and love for speed even more......

Bottom line is I want a good job to be able to support my self and my 4 Boys and give them someone to look up too and not some screw up....

I would use your knowledge of money to make as money as you can. Move up in your bank and become a personal banker or something similar. Make that your legacy so you can pursue the things you really enjoy , like the items below.

Go to your technical schools on the side. It can be done at night and on weekends.

You won't make that kind of dough working on 40's, 50's 60's hot rods unless you are Chip Foose.
The exotic car repair business is tricky and not the money maker you think unless the bulk of the business is in warranty work, ask Brian Crall of BCC in San Ramon (FNA for 25 years).
Diesel is a good field but you should head into alternative fuels and power sources (it's the future you know) immediately and leave the old tech behind.

My brother felt the same as you do about cars and racing when he was in high school but the automotive business he has run for 30 years has taken the fun and opportunity out of it. He is strapped to the business and drives a POS 1970 Chevy Blazer. Great race engine builder though!

In other words , make the love of your life your HOBBY, NOT your lively hood.
