    Every month or so I get a request for a UNIELEKTRA mirror front cap, but unfortunately until now I haven't been able to supply one.

    I recently acquired a UNIELEKTRA labeled trapezoidal front mirror cap in very good condition, used it as a mold pattern, and the picture below shows the 1st 2 parts out of the mold!

    BTW, I've been suppling the testured surface trapezoidal front cap & rounded rear mirror caps for many years.

    My 82 flag mirror front trapezoidal cover is the UNIELEKTRA embossed version.

    Very interesting, I've seen the UNIELEKTRA front caps on 328s & '85 308s, textured front caps on '84 & earlier 308s.

    My March 88 production "88.5" 328 has smooth (textured?) caps. No UNIELEKTRA.

    I have a 1985 308 GTSi QV. On the driver's/left side mirror, the front trapezoidal cover is the UNIELEKTRA embossed version, with UNIELEKTRA upside down. On the right side, the front trapezoidal cover is smooth (or textured?) Are the two mirrors supposed to be different? If not, which side is correct?

    My '83 QV has identical UNIELEKTRA caps on both sides, with the driver's being upside down. (My car is FCA platinium condition.)

    The most I can tell you with confidence is that the caps should be the same on both sides. I've seen the UNIELEKTRA front caps on 328s & '85 308s, textured front caps on '84 & earlier 308s. However earlier in this thread there are otherwise examples.
