    Currently my engine is being serviced. I'm replacing all hoses with the silicone hoses. Valves are being adjusted, new 612 tensioners and belts. Rebuilding pumps and such.

    The valve covers are faded black and I was going to send them out for powder coating.

    Has anyone done any other colors other than black for a 456? I tempted to try yellow or God forbid red. I'm I committing adultery for changing the color? ;)

    My car is Black on Black and I am planning to enjoy for quite sometime. Anyone have any engine bay pictures of other colors? Any thoughts?

    If you're going red, I'd recommend something dark like rubino, fiorano or micalizzato in the metallics and barchetta in the flats. I don't think rosso corsa or giallo modena go well on the big GTs, but that's just my opinion.

    You're free to change the color; it's your car. A hundred years from now, someone may "barn find" it and want to go original, but that's not your problem. It's not like you're turning it into a ricer.

    Very pretty! What color is that? Looks like an anodized red to match the 90 degree fitting. Thank you for sharing.

    Thank's its the only part of my car that was not factory, But you could request
    it, as long as you have the money they will they will take it..
