If car is European it should not have US spec side lights

+1 Big rear bumper and exhaust also indicate US version.

And what I can see from these pictures:

    - seats look original but are obviously reupholstered without the black strips. I suspect it's an older reupholstery judging from the wear on it. Also I think the whole interior has been redone, because the door pockets are missing.
    - wheels are fine, period correct Gottis (non factory but used for example on the 308 GTB/M cars).
    - mirrors are not original, they look similar to those for the 328.

What would posses someone to leave out the door pockets? Are they a pain to deal with when performing reupholstery work? I assume the trim on the seats would have to have been altered for aesthetic reasons, though personally I think the carbureted cars have much more attractive seats because of it.

Somebody trying for a "cleaner" look (in concert with the plain seat faces) - hasn't really worked has it? Especially given how busy those wheels make the outside look. Some people should just be banned from modifying things!! :)

A lot of North American versions have found their way back to Scandinavian countries for some reason.

I must know of six or seven from the Fchaters here that post about them...not sure the 'why' of it, but it's a very real phenominon.

Those wheels are fine, I run similar 16" Etoiles on my car.

No longer in business tho, so if you damage one you are 'on your own' for repairs..

As I said in the oTHER thread, just budget to redo the gaffs in the interior.

I vote NO on the shields too but we have beat that to death here.

The door pockets, like the seat strips are black vinyl in lieu of leather.

The 'correct" black vinyl is troublesome to chase down if you want the EXACT grain to match the dash and armrests. Other than that it must have been an aesthetic decision.

You could actually add the strips back into that existing upholstery, IMO.

You would have to remove them to sew them in obviously.....no big deal.

And door panel pockets, I could find some here or with mine off duplicate those pretty easily too!
