I have a hypothetical that I am hoping someone will be able to answer. If I reduce the unsprung weight by about 6 lbs for each front wheel and about 8 lbs for each rear wheel, will the active suspension freak out? Is there a +/- weight window per wheel that needs to be maintained for the suspension to perform as intended?

360 or 430? I would think the system would freak out if you just did some of the wheels and not all of them.

I believe there would be zero difference unless size is different

The sensors monitor changes in the different axes including pitch roll yaw

I finally got the new rims and tires on. The weight savings on the back was 10 pounds per side and the front was 8 pounds per side. The car did not complain in any mode (sport on, sport off, asr) in all gears. One thing I will say is the car drives much much smoother. There are 3 roads in my area that are so bumpy I have to switch sport mode off but with these new rims and tires the bumps were very mild and its feels like the suspension system was designed for the unsprung weight that I am now currently running. .

The sensors measure vertical acceleration and react to it. There isn't a sophisticated model based on unsprung weight.

360 with forged aluminum BBS rims (re1347 front and re1348 rear) and Micheline Pilot sport 4S (225/45 front 285/40 rear). Pics will take awhile since I am away from the car. So until then, it didn't happen.

8 and 10 lbs a corner is a lot! What did you have on there before?
