    NC FCA Members,

Here is an update on events coming up. I will send a follow up email once some additional details are nailed down, but I wanted to go ahead and get this out so you can plan ahead and know what to expect. I am also working on an event in Raleigh in November, but I will solidify that on the next correspondence.

October 22nd - Cars, Cops, & Kids - Charlotte, NC....This is a VERY special event put on by one of our members, Stephen Rosenburgh. I participated for the first time earlier this year and I was blown away by the impact it had on the kids, law enforcement, and our community. If you live around the Charlotte area, I would highly recommend attending. I'll be driving down from Greensboro again. Reach out if you are interested in a caravan from Greensboro or Winston. It is worth the drive. Here is the info:
We will meet at the new Charlotte Ferrari dealership on Tyvola Rd. at 11:00 AM, departing at 11:30 AM for the event along with a police escort.
Location for event: CMPD East Division 6711 City View Dr. We finish at 1:30 PM.

October 28-30, Chattanooga, TN - The 7th Annual Citta' Scenico. JUST A FEW ROOMS LEFT at this link: Book your group rate for Ferrari Club of Chattanooga Oct 2022. If you have any issues booking a room (or just have questions) please reach out to Ryan at [email protected]. Register now at https://ferrariclubofamerica-georgiach.regfox.com/citt-scenico-2022

November 4-6, Hilton Head, SC - Hilton Head Concours. There are not any spots left for the Saturday Showcase, but our SC President, Hal Lawson will be hosting a dinner on Saturday night the 5th in Hilton Head. Register here: https://ferrariclubofamerica-georgiach.regfox.com/hilton-head-dinner Hal can give you info on the dinner and also on the Sunday Concours.

December 3rd - NC&SC Holiday Party - Ballantyne Hotel, Charlotte, NC...There is a LOT of work behind the scenes to make this a very special event for everyone. Of course, the main event is the Party/Dinner, but it will also be a full day of events. Participate in as much as you'd like. I'll post the current schedule below so you have an idea of what to expect. We have reserved 40 rooms at the Ballantyne at a discounted rate of $259/night(plus tax). You have until November 4th to reserve a room before the discount goes away. I'll send out the link with the discount code once I receive it which should be soon. I know some of you have already booked your rooms. We will have them apply the discount to your current reservation. Please book early as we expect this event to sell out. I plan to have invitations and the online registration sent out by next week. Please review current schedule below.

    Tentative Schedule:

9:00am-10:30am : Private viewing of the Hendrick Heritage Collection in Concord, NC. This is Rick Hendrick's private collection not open to the public with over 200 cars including a La Ferrari among many other rare cars. It is set up in a "blast from the past" with a story line of Rick Hendrick's life and timeframe. We will have some special guest speakers as well.

11:00-1:00pm : Private tour and lunch at RK Motors. This is the special collection that unfortunately got cancelled earlier this year. Luckily this time, all of the cars are expected to be there! Another very rare collection and much anticipated. This collection is typically closed on Saturday's and Hagerty is working hard on finalizing the details to make this work.

1:30-3:30pm : Special tour/viewing of New Ferrari Dealership at Foreign Cars Charlotte. Steve Sudler will be discussing new models, special insights on the brand, etc. We're making this early enough so everyone will have plenty of time to check-in to the hotel, relax, get dressed up, etc.

7:00-8:00pm : Cocktail hour - We won't call it Black Tie, but it will be a formal event. Cash bar, we'll have some rare Ferrari's actually parked inside and outside the venue. There will be entertainment as well.

8:00-9:00pm : Dinner, Annual recap, Thanks, 2023 outlook/plans, Sponsorship recognition, etc.

    9:00-11:00pm - Dancing, Music, etc.

April 10-11, 2023, Alton, VA - VIR Regional Track event. More to come but save the date.
