    Just recieved an e-mail from a friend with a list of cars for an upcoming racing game for the 360 and PS3 set to launch in late summer. No word of a name yet, I'll have to look into it.

    Anyways, if this is a real list than this game is going to be UNBELIVABLE)

    That will be a superb game. Do you know anything about steering wheel capability. Logitech G25 with the H pattern shift. I want to know if you can actually use the clutch and shift. If so. Even more superb.

    That should be an amazing game, but I just home they don't make it like some kind of NFS. I really hope it plays like Forza, then I will definitely buy it ;)

    Yah, thats a big plus. NFS sucks, i love Live For Speed and GTR2. Some good games, but unrealistic cars.

    Personally, I think Need For Speed: High Stakes is a MUCH more fun game than games like Gran Turismo 4...

    Wasn't aware that the G25 is compatable with the 360 or the PS3...do I need to start saving my pennies for one of these AWESOME wheels?

    Ah man, I didnt read the title all the way. :( Hopefully the game will be PC as well. or PS2 or whatever the G25 is compatible with. I bet Logitech is working on that so PS3 and 360 and other video game console owners will be able to use it.

    I hear getting peripherals to Microsoft standards is a real pain in the butt. This is why Guitar Hero II won't release with a wireless guitar on the 360 :(

    Its not for PS3 but Forza Motorsport 2 is coming soon (May) and will be fantastic if its anything like the original (should be better) and will have many cars with lots of options for tuning.

    EA Sports, makers of Need For Speed, own exclusive rights to use Porsches in their games.

    I don't think they have exclusive rights anymore as Forza one and two which are not made made EA Sports have Porsches in them, so there is a possibility of them being in this upcoming game.

    Test Drive Unlimited does not have Porsche's do to that contract. Gran Turismo has Ruf's because the cars are so modifies that they are considered a different car. I have heard rumors that there was going to be a NFS game that replicates TDU in a lot of ways. Could this be that game?

    I just had to add that the new F1 World Championship game on the PS3 is probably the best F1 game that has come out in almost a decade! I do appreciate the Gran Turismo type game but for sheer knife-edge driving experience that will make you sweat, F1 world championship is the game for you...

    The original Need For Speed for the PC was (in my opinion) one of the greatest racing games. Of course you have to take into consideration the technology available when it was released, but at the time it was one of the most realistic out there. However, I agree that the modern NFS games are garbage...
