Crazy that posts on fchat are being reported as news. It is exciting but a little frightening too.

I, as is everyone else is I'm sure, am very gratfeul for you posting information on new Ferrari models. Although I am not in the market for an F-Car (and probably won't be for a while), my passion for Ferrari's is indescribable. Any news on anything about Ferrari is appreciated. I can't wait to see pics of your Scuderia too! Take care.

I appreciate you giving us updates as well. I really think the information you have shared so far will in fact turn out to be true. I would just hate for customers like yourself to get scolded by Ferrari and/or their dealers for giving out information in the future. That was what I was referring to when I said the exposure was frightening. I was excited because Ferrarichat is obviously pretty well respected and anytime the site can get exposure I usually believe that is a good thing. Please keep updating us in the future. I think your posts are great.

 

Full details on the 'F149' are still shaky but Paris sounds about right. I know of orders available for the F149 first couple available in the UK. I hear we are loooking at £90-110,000

 

Rosso Scuderia would seem like a very honest color for your new Ferrari. The new blue being touted by comparison seems merely a pale imitation of the image a Scuderia should possess. Did not know about the CF availability schedule. As always you are on top of the details for Ferrari present and future. Thank you!

Hello from a Newbie.

I've had my "unofficial" F149 order taken about a month ago. Have been told that Paris will be the launch date. No pricing as yet.

My dealer has also indicated that there will indeed be a replacement for the 612 but probably not until 2010. It seems 2008 is for the F149 and 2009 is for the F430 replacement. I've just taken delivery of a 612HGTS and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be outdated too soon! Btw, it seems Ferrari have decided against using an "M" tag for the latest updates to the 612. I have to say the latest version drives beautifully - improved suspension, gear box, and the new Bose stereo system is unbelievable. I only wish they had made the steering a little more taught. Nevertheless, I am completely enamored with the car
