Hi Folks, I'm new here and am facing a bit of a challenge getting my ownership registered with Ferrari so that I can order a second key. I bought my F12 from a non-Ferrari dealer locally but now the local store wont update the record till I bring it in for service? Any ideas? Vehicle is already registered in my name.
None of these suggestions may solve your problem, but here's a couple of things you might try: If you haven't already done so, register your F12 on myferrari.com They will ask for proof of ownership, e.g. upload a copy of your registration, but at least that gets you in the system. I did this recently for my F12 and that started an email exchange with Ferrari when my proof was only a temporary registration but it might open some doors (although they referred me back to the dealership on a question I had). On the Ferrari NA website, if you search long and hard, you will find a contact link > https://www.ferrari.com/en-US/contacts I used this when my fuel filler seal failed on my first fillup and the dealer said the warranty replacement part was on backorder with no ETA. Customer service replied pretty quickly and assigned a case number and the part suddenly showed up at the Ferrari dealer. Hope this helps - good luck (BTW, I'm waiting for my second key to show up too )
Are you opposed to taking it in for the scheduled service, which is most likely included with the purchase?
1. above should definitely work, after a few days your car will be in the "my garage" section and it will be registered in Ferrari system. I recently bought a 550 from a non Ferrari dealer, I registered it in the Ferrari web and could order the key PIN code that I did not get with the car.
Not opposed taking it in but I would like to enjoy the car for a bit before taking it in for service.
Hi All, A quick update... I was able to get my information updated directly with Ferrari customer service! Thanks for your help!
Yes I was trying Ferrari of Houston, but as I heard from many... they weren't going out of their way if you know what I mean.
