Update: I have a deal on the Mondial T, pending PPI

I posted an earlier thread about going from a Porsche to a Ferrari - 89 Mondial T.

I have done a lot of homework and research, driven the car several times, and agreed on a price for the car. The deal is pending a PPI that will be performed at Norwood Performance in Dallas on Wednesday 3/26.

Issues that I found were a few interior bits that needed to be glued and the shrunken cab top. (There were other issues, but mostly cosmetic and some potential mechanical issues that I will confirm during the PPI.) I negotiated the cost of a new top out of the price and will have it replaced immediately. While I am disappointed that the top is not working, the upside is that I will have a brand new top.

Wish me luck on the PPI. This is getting exciting!

I spent some quality time detailing my Porsche 911 - the daily driver that I am keeping - yesterday. I figured I would give it some attention prior to the new horse in the stable. I used the Griots Garage power orbital and supplies. Hard work, but it looks incredible. Black sure looks great when it is clean. I will detail any future Ferrari the same way.
