Oh well..... Thank God for the MR2.

I have been digging out from the metric tons of paper and accounting work getting the new business underway.....almost on autopilot now sop I can come out and play a little more.

    Hey Antony,

Moved to Virginia, still have the 308. The M3 has been converted to a Dinan Stage 2 M3, its a veritable rocket now. Waiting for Dinan to finish their E-46 supercharger! Signed up for Skip Barber open wheel race weekends this spring to finish my national SCCA liscense. I put the 348 Challenge idea on hold but have wrapped acquiring a Stohr chassis with a Suzuki Hyabusa engine. Looking forward to getting on the track with it.

    How are you?

Hmmm, so Steve, is it you or is it the Countach that apparently melts like a slug from a little salt?? Neither of you looks like a slug...

Many people think I look like a slug, and yeah, actually they do (the Countach that is)..... very strong and well built car for a small manufacturer using peasant labor in a small country 20 years ago, but I would like the wear and tear on it to be inflicted by me, not needless exposure. There's a lot of steel in the chassis and suspension pieces and I would like them to rust out no faster than they otherwise would.

Moisture? Not preferred but no big deal. Salt? Big Deal.

After I retire it from hardcore driving (many years from now) I want it to still be sound.

(Steve: Don't worry --- you could always wreck it again and make an insurance claim, thus both dispensing with the salt concerns and getting a new front end and paint job.)

I just dropped the TR off on Saturday to have new rear calipers installed --- I figured that this year I would actually have braking ability for a change. Ordered a new pair of front tires from Tire Rack, set to arrive in mid-March. The Candy-Blue powder-coated Turbo Twist wheels look spectacular and will be installed on the Porsche 928S4 shortly -- still finalizing selection for the lug nuts, center caps and valve stem caps.

Currently awaiting the arrival in late February of Brian Wise's GORGEOUS red/black 1972 Dino 246GT, which will be living at chez Grenier until question mark.

Other than that, just busy righting legal wrongs.
