    5 lights on - 5 lights off---THE PARTY IS ON!!!!! Remember NASCAR quits in the rain NOT F-1. We may not display the flags outside (that may make it difficult for Dave to find the place). If it is raining-just to make things a little more interesting, I think we will start serving "Mimosas" at 11:00, that should get the hard core fans out, and probably passed out by race end. NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDEES: I will not be responsible for the performance of the little "digital" dish, we have a 7' real dish and I have watched much stuff in hugely inclement weather and there was never a problem. But earlier this year the "money grubbers' at speed vision pulled of another one of their tricks and we dropped the big dish because speed said they were going to take their toys and run. Two months after we got the "small" dish Speed said<" Oh we made a mistake and we will supply the C-band folks" Bottom line-the small dish mucks up in heavy rain---C-band never does. SO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE SHALL SEE! Hope to see all of you here, I suspect there will be no flotation Ferraris.

    Thanks Don and Carolyn for hosting the F1 Watch Party - love your big widescreen TV. It was lots of fun - good to see everyone and all the cars (of course!). We did luck out with the weather - a Perfect Day for Convertibles!

    5 World Driver and Constructor titles in 5 years was fun, but it's good to have races that aren't so one sided. Next year ought to be interesting.

    Carolyn and I wanted to thank everyone who came to the party. We really enjoyed having everyone over. If everyone is game I suspect we will do the same for Australia next year, the third race of the year not the first.
