As recently posted in the technical section, Ricambi was able to secure the last of the "ST Corsa" style Mondial center vents. These have already sold out and we are looking at committing to have another 20 made. In order to do so, we'd like to have reasonably firm commitment for 10 vents before going ahead with the order as it involves a substantial outlay.

So, if there is any interest at all in these, please contact us ([email protected]) and let us know. We are not asking for any payment up front, nor a binding commitment - just an "expression of interest".

A search on "ST Corsa" here in Fchat will provide considerable information on these, and the full details are here:

Guys, this upgrade is probably the best of all my efforts to make Rachel better.. Simply put, it's not about better performance, sound or any of that. It's about a product that makes a huge difference in your warm weather driving comfort. This vent is what Ferrari should have had in its stock form, as the stock one cannot direct the air flow any higher than your mid section Thank God, Steve @ STCorsa developed this product to fill the void. I'm glad it's going to be available again from RICAMBI. BTW, it's a no-brainer to install as well:) Like the guy who sells suits on TV, I'd say "you're gonna love the way it feels. I guarantee it".

    Cheers, Hank

Will also agree - the STCorsa vents have made a big difference.
And, installing them gives you a chance to easily rplace the aging foam where the vent connects to the a/c plenum to fix leaks which waste cold air into the under-dash area.

Trust me, Michael---------you'll wish you had done this upgrade two years ago when it first came out. $335 will make you smile - a thousand dollar kind of fun smile:)

    Best to you and family,

I hope it's not a "no-go" item. If the interest list is still active, please add me.

I purchased the vent some time ago, and it was exceptionally well made, and makes a huge difference in the function of the system.

Unless there is some trade secret, I would like to know what car make/model the plastic vent inserts are from. If I bust one over time, as they do pop out for, e.g. access to replace the a/c evaporator which I did, and no doubt some day the plastic will get brittle, and I expect to have my Mondial for a long time, I would feel better knowing how to order a replacement. I suspect the part # reference would not make a knockoff any easier, it is the machined part that is where the design efforts and dollars are...maybe add to the parts cross sticky? If this is a secret, no problem, just thinking longer term when these become unobtainium.

the ones in mine are BMW as to model ? i'd have to get a part number for you, but mines not apart right now. I'd suspect early 3~5 series.

    This information would be great.

I have both cars you mention, but both the centre vents on my 3 series e30 1990 and e28 m535i 1987 are only double vents, the mondials are 3, you must have to tag another one on somehow, like stick one of the single end ones on.

the vents pop out of the assembly so you have just the vent piece, the E12 may be the one, not recalling the size off the top of my head, they sit center of the dash.
