Ok boys, here we go...Gary Bobileff sent me some pics of my '83 308QV he is working on for me prior to shipping it back East. The seats are done, the rest of the interior is done (dye) and the returning many parts to factory black is complete. Putting it back together tomorrow and should be ready to go late tomorrow.

Of all the work he has done, the front grill looks the best along with the A and B Pillars back to factory black. The seats look great too (new leather and filler)...Gary is the man.

Shipping it back to NOVA on Tuesday. More Pics on arrival.

good luck, that car looks really clean and sharp. Interested in a compare and contrast 348 vs 3x8 when you get a minute.

Will give you guys some feedback in due course, although I probably could already do so having driven a few 308QV's already, but let me keep it and drive it for a month or two and then I will give you guys some feedback on the differences between the 348SS and the 308QV. Should be interesting...

P.S. If Gary ships one of the Miuras back I will take it and move to somewhere unknown to all of you.

Thanks Scott. Just looked at yours in your photos, and want it to look just like that. For those of you who don't know me yet, I have owned a 348SS for the last year, and just sold it to another gent in Canada.

I really look forward to owning a QV, and as far as I can tell, this is one of the 3048 QV's ever made...is that right? Does anyone have those numbers? Someone must, this is Fchat right? LOL :p

Matt...I appreciate the compliment, and will be happy to see you get your car. Per your pics, they're doing a nice job on it.

At the moment, I'm grinding my teeth, waiting to get situated in our new house and start some car projects...the engine compartment's my next cleanup and detail project, have a little ways to go on the engine cooling system, need to get into the various #s and get it on the QV Registry.

According to Guida section in summer 2008 Cavallino, 748 QV GTBs and 3042 QV GTSs were produced, 1982-1985...well in the ballpark.

According to another thread here, in 1983 there were 871 GTSs produced.
