I thought you might like this bit of information I ran across... ;)

    Dear Tech Support,

This year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed
that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot
of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself
into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity.
Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing
    7.5, and F1 Racing 3.6
I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my
favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0,
but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

    Thanks,

    A Troubled User.

    Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is
just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING
SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also
impossible to delete Wife 1. 0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is
impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once
    installed.
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to
not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child
Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the
situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear"
    to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE
because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the
system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it
tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support
programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.
However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will
cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the
only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase
additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary with
Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will
cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

    Best of luck, Tech Support

    Thanks for the funny blurb...

Me big man, she woman. Me find her with club and bring her back to cave. Now she wash lion loin cloths and shoot summer babies out after we spend many a cold winter night in cave...

Being married is beyond words and has been the best experience of my life. Next week we will be in Maui and if that is the start of "unexpected child processing" I will be an even more happy man. Trading in a life of carelss spending, living in a nice apartment with a Ferrari and H2 really is second place right now. Nothing can beat it...

well maybe a future problem like Vince and Frank have had trying to find a good fitting child seat for a Ferrari.

PS: My home costs as much as the Carrera GT I see as I drive by a dealer almost every day. Of course I wonder what if. However, awesome home with beautiful life or modern James Dean car? Wife is a lot better looking, performing and more rare and runs on cookies and hugs, not 93 octane and drives only on the weekends.

Last weekend I went to see "Defending the Caveman" on Belmont and Bway. If you haven't seen it yet, go there with your wife. It is really funny, especially for younger folks who still think they are joking. Once you get older you realize they're just telling the truth...

Rocketboy is a happy man these days with his new diggs.
Don't piss him off or he will hit you with his club! Have fun on the Honeymoon and don't forget to rent an exotic out there. I know they have 355's for rent so you should give it a try. You gotta try the Maui downhill bike ride. That is kool stuff! Riding a bike 10,000 + feet above sea level with nothing but clouds on the side of you and no rail! Yikes...

The car seat in my 355 won't fly because he like to sit in the drivers seat which is a big problem. Thank God he can't find the door handle to get in or I would be in big trouble.

    Have fun on your trip!

    Thanks!

Hey... my kids car seat fits just fine in the 308. Both kids love it!
By the way... it is great to hear your kids say "dada", and other such things. But, around 2.5 years, as the vocabulary builds, your kid figures out a few things, there will come that wonderful day when your kid says (with enthusiasm) "daddy, lets drive in the Ferrari!"

LOL! That is SO True,Spike!...:) I have always driven my kids in my Corvettes and the Porsche, before I got the Ferrari 5 Years ago. (My son was 3 then)

I remember back in '98,driving him back to his Mom's house one time after we first got separated. It was my Weekend visitation. I usually used my Work Car,(A Buick) But,this time, used one of my 'Vettes. He was just about a Year old. He looked like a little Pea in a Pod....:) His Mom,naturally,Freaked Out because he was in a Corvette, and I was in a really bad accident in a Corvette many Years earlier. But,I pointed out the fact that I had a Car Seat, and how cute he looked in it. And that he really loved it. And,she finally retracted her claws....:)

And,I have ALWAYS used a Car Seat for them. They do fit fine in the Sports Cars. I have a Tan one right now that I am done using. My guy grew out of it a long time ago. It's for bigger kids,say,3-6yrs. But it fits perfect, and it's Tan,if you have a Tan interior. It is very Clean, and I am offering it,no charge,to anyone who needs it,or know of someone else that does.

The performance could degrade with miles. While some cars start to perform better after their motor is finished with the "breaking in" period, others (like exotics) tend to get worse if not properly tuned. Make sure to give her the occasional tune-up to keep her running well. Preventative maintenance will save you in the long run. And don't try to skimp on service. Take it to a reputable mechanic to get your work done.

Everything you know about your Ferrari will apply.

    P.S.
If your buddies ever ask to drive, tell them to go screw themselves!!
