    Does anyone know where i can get the halogen hi/lo beam headlights of my Testarossa retro-fitted with a set of HID Bi-Xenon lights (into my existing pop-up headlight assembly)?

    What size headlights are in the TR? Is it four 5 3/4" round lenses?

    There are HID projector-style retrofits (the only type worth considering, in my opinion), but they were too big for my 328's headlight buckets (too deep), and I would guess the same for the tr's, too. Those are the 7" rounds, which won't work in your car if you have 5" headlight buckets. (Reference: http://www.suvlights.com/xe7.htm)

    My suggestion? Get four new Cibie 5 3/4" lenses, get a headlight wiring kit, and some high-quality overwattage bulbs--your headlights will never be better (see above thread).

    Edit: I'm confused. What is a 512T? Not a 512TR (They weren't yet made then, right), and a Testarossa is not a 512 in any respect... and not a 512BBi...

    Thanks for your reply. Nice car by the way! As for the link - yes, those are very cool! I will have to check into the diam of my existing halogen lights and if they are too small I will look into the CIBIE's. Thank you. For right now my little red go cart is in the shop undergoing yet another round of extensive repairs and performance enhancements. I will send you some pics if u would like.

    I have also just ordered up a tubi exhaust, house of kolor paint, ferrari badges, a new 'see thru' rear engine cover and heat shield

    as well as the attached set of 3 pce 18' wheels (not my car).

    As for make & model My Testarossa is a US Edition '88 512T or so my owners manual says..... I do not believe they came out with the 512TR until 1991 and the 512M until 1995.

    p.s. Just ordered up a new Lics plate: 'RED 4RE' in the hopes that the car will be bakc on the road in 6 weeks or so - cool huh?

    Great! Please do post pics for us F-chatters when you get everything sorted.

    Also, and I could be wrong, but I'm still confused about the "512T". There's not a single reference to that in all of the FerrariChat archives... I could be completely and utterly wrong (am not a Testarossa owner!), but, it doesn't ring a bell with me. Are you sure you have the right owners manual?
