Its been a while since ive posted here! Anyways, its time to retire the WRX, and I found a 2005 325i that is PERFECT. If I were to order it from the factory, I would have ordered it just like this! I was so excited when I found it that I could not sleep last night--I have not been so ecstatic about something in a LONG time. I think this car must have been built for me, and given to another owner for a short period of time. Black on Black, REALLY low miles, standard transmission, sport package, etc etc. Anyways, I am working with the dealer to get the price down, but I have two questions. First off, what does it mean for the car to be a 325i South Africa? Does that just mean it was built at the BMW plant in South Africa? Secondly, can anyone run a carfax on a VIN number for me? Please let me know, and I will PM you the number. It would mean a lot to me. And lastly....anyone want a MINT 2004 WRX with 29,000 baby-milk fed miles on it? Its currently on autotrader, but I am looking to move it NOW.
Just an FYI, the South African plant is supposedly known for producing a high quality product. Just what I've read numerous times over the past year or so on various bimmer forums.
Maybe pay for carfax and run this prospective purchase and your WRX so buyers can see your car is clean. Post on cars.com, or eBay it.
Post it on Craigslist, you'll get more hits than a abused child. I posted something on Craigslist and got like 20 responses in a matter of 2 days.
Won't help with the carfax but run the VIN though your dealer and they can give you the history on the car. Also take the car to a well known body shop and pay them 1/2 or a full hour to look for past collision damage. <<< Very easy to spot.
... wow ... lol while it doesn't offend me, id watch it with stuff like that lol. While i find it humorous not all may lol
