    you knew this day was coming...now that gomment is convinced general aviation is a mortal sin, not surprised they are choosing now to do this. I'll let my reps know (they're going to get real tired of me soon!)

    I sent this to my representatives:



    The "Large Aircraft Security Program", et. al. is ill-conceived and draconian in
    nature. An example of government make-work run amok. The real, and indeed even
    the perceived benefits are so far out of balance with the inherent costs and
    destructive nature of the program it should have been a non-starter. The fact
    that it has gone this far is disturbing not only in and of itself, but for what
    it portends for the future of private aviation.
    This is not the death knell, but the TSA is polishing the bell....
