Very cool. I like it. Front spoiler looks mickey mouse. Exhuast tips should be smaller. I doubt Bob was consulted throughout. Not exactly a phone friendly guy...let alone email.
I like it as well. It would be fun to blast around the streets in it. I would have done something different on the rear flares though. Kinda pricey imo.
A nice idea (Urraco 3.5) but certainly not a replica (an exact copy or model of something). Would have made a nice road car too....
That's generally the way a lot of hobby projects go. But if someone wants to call this overpriced what market examples is that opinion based on? Are there any? So try such a project on your own and I'd bet that even a well run pro shop that knows these types of cars might have a problem doing it (properly) for that price at their cost. I don't find it outrageous but I wouldn't buy it either because at this point it's just a custom car nothing more. It has no collector or historical significance.
I would drive that car on the street as my daily driver, they did a very nice job on the build, i like it alot .
.................How much in dollars is 39,995 GDP , ? I would have to see how they tied the roll cage into the car , If i liked the craftmanship on it, and it ran good and had some pep to it , i would consider it .I hate to haggle price with sellers, I would say under $ 50K US would be a fair price , over $ 50K i would not consider it .( because i really want a Countach so i would sit and save )
65k US!!! Not for a modified Urraco. You hit it on the head.....no historic significance. 40k and use it as a daily hot rod, yes.......AND if the US dollar was where it should be........
If you look in the background of this pic from left to right you can see a Countach LP400, a 350 or 400 GT, possibly a Ford Cortina or similar, the prototype Uracco, and the Jarama RS. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The real car exists with a collector complete with terrifying Megahono trumpets! Built in 1973/74, it was extensively modified, much like the Jota and Jarama. My 'theory' are that these are actually the crashed original Jota's wheels refurbished. It has a dry-sumped three-liter V8 with a four-valve cylinder head. 330bhp. Lamborghini's highly experimental engine was coupled to a state-of-the-art six-speed gearbox. Wallace has told a story several times about how he reputedly lapped an entire field of Porsche RSR's within nine laps. Hard core! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I must be missing something here... 1/ Apart from the real Urraco Bob which is already spoken for can somebody please tell me which other Urraco is of historical significance and worth this sort of money? 2/ Cool for sure but this is not a road car and must have limited scope for track use. 3/ A 3.5 litre Urraco has appeal as the frame is much stiffer than the Jalpa and there are opportunities for weight saving and updating with the Jalpa later developments such as Countach brake servo and 16" wheels, but as a road car. 4/ Sure this hot rod must have cost a lot to build but i'm not convinced that the objective was clearly thought through or carried out as well as it might have been. 5/ What is its purpose and why is it for sale?

Could that be the 350GTV next to the Countach LP400? Is the roof profile more curved than a 300 or 400GT?
