So, is the 2nd or 3rd last, I don't know yet exactly, worth 25.000 ? It's in perfect reconditionned condition. W/ French papers.
a friend had one and was really a good car...may be he was lucky but my fother had a pretty good experience with a P350 Jalpa...that is not very different from a P300 imo
Indeed, I really hesitate between this resored P300 and an Espada to partially restore (series 1 from 1969, or SII from 1972 in Italy).
do not esitate if the espada is not much more cheap the espada is not much more expensive than a P300 in the same conditions and a lambo V12 resto could be potentially VERY expensive what the espada needs? it iseasy to put 10k euro in one car that looks good..... get the good car if the espada is not really cheap and needs not so many thins to be done
The P300 has been very well restored and is for less than 26.000 . 1 Espada is a S.II, has got an engine rebuilt at Sig. Fasano di Torino for more than 14.000 . It needs cosmetic paint attention and some parts of the leather to be maybe changed. This one is at 26.500 . Another Espada, a 1969 model, needs a complete paint work, a leather cleanse and a major mechanical attention. But I don't know who, in its country of origin will do the job... With the car only serviced, I think I could get it for less than 20.000 .
Found this video on youtube, a video of the old owner driving my car in sweeden! Really funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpTzAYxl_cc
I bought mine (#20128) from the original owner in Switzerland in 2005. It hadn't really been run in 18 months and had 95,000 kms on the clock. Mike Pullen gave it a full service when we got it back to the Uk and I've had no drivetrain issues at all since. My previous Urraco was a P250, also with 90k kms, and that gave no problems either. david s
sound like most vintage italian cars... the more you use em the better off they are in terms of reliability. seems like you have some good luck with urracos... having said that there is a disproportionate amount of v8 lambos with serious drivetrain issues with relatively low miles. 4 or more jalpas here in the states are just sitting around with blown motors. apparently at least 2 have sold for less than 10K usd due to the difficulty of sourcing a replacement motors. thanks for sharing hf

Hey goober, I've seen the resto pages of your urraco. I'm currently in the works of my p250S here in west Aussie. Mind if I ask if you needed to do any body/rust work? And what did the whole project cost? ( need an estimate for mine..) Cheers
oh and while im at it, heres #15580. '74 P250S, RHD. Currently runs, but in process of a slow restore (no time to commit). a few small rust spots (in corners, bottom edge of doors, under weather strips, corners of boot). bumpers, some interior inc dash, passenger seat, etc removed (rebuilt and sitting in boxes) anyone need info on RHD cars, shoot while she's apart. for anyone keeping records: chassis and engine number: #15580.( as indicated on id plate) same number stamped on cam cover, but engine bottom end i saw was stamped with a different number (did not note). will check if anyone intrested. car was acquired in Singapore, history unknown. Believed to have been brought in as the major prize for a golf tournament, but was sold by winner immidiately.
