Also the Yow-modelli Prototype has a wrong rear, the shape of the fender and boot lid is different than the final urraco one. http://lambo.dk/cars/urraco/1prototype/images.php And you can see that also the door glass and B sill are completely different! Both his models are based on Alezan kits, good for him he is so far away, else he might run into copyright problems... I quickly checked the prices, 42000 Yen is almost CHF500 which is more than 3 times the price of a Looksmart...
Does anyone have a defrost control lever kicking about for a P300 they don't want or perhaps is anyone aware of what other vehicle they might be found in? Thanks
I know of a Silhouette that was for sale in Aus recently (may have been sold). I can put you in touch with the seller and someone who might be know of a P300. If interested PM me
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976-KAMBORGHINI-URRACO-P-300-/130472925434?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1e60cad8fa At least put the correct mirrors on it.
So I have no Idea.. Why is it a one of one..? Are those the correct seats..looks different then mine? When I see add's like this..makes me thing I am selling mine to cheap LOL LOL
seat are different cuz its a P300, I prefer the P250 seats in apperence and comfort. in fact nearly all the interior panels, IP, seats are different from the early P250 P300 are worth a lot more imo...like 50% when you drive a P250 the motor seem to be always straining, much like an underpowered fiat in the day. you feel bad flogging it. a P300 power delivery feels more like a super bike when you pile on the revs... fantastic!
A few Urracos came w/o the rear slats - as the Silhouette and Jalpa - some countries thought that it hindered rear vision (like it's easy to see what's behind you in a DD Countach). Might be the only one in the States. the seats are correct for the 3000 (at this point of production also the 2000 and 2500 were unified - also the small rear roll bar near the speaker). It does have the good looking deep dish steering wheel and the chrome bumpers (not common for the 3000! Overall a very nice car - much faster than the 2.5. This was a 3.0 that I was looking at about 3 1/2 years ago - wanted about 20,000 Euro - a one owner car with original paint and interior - you can see the black rubber bumpers and the cassic rear louver engine cover. Notice the correct air box covers - only the 3.0 had these scripts. The interior is the same as the Ebay car. if im not mistaking they ultimate motors cars had a black P300 for sale way back in the early 80's. i wonder if this is the same car? unlike some other dealers... there cars are typically pretty straight. this one looks fantastic especially with the rare French engine cover. thanks for posting hf
No, I didn't take note of the VIN, it was a 1976 if I remember correctly, one owner with original licence plate. The paint was "fair" if you looked at it up close, the interior was "OK", various oil leaks, the only thing missing was the metal overflow reservoir, it had a plastic VW tank bolted on. I saw it again at the Padova classic car show one year later (2008), another dealer was trying to sell it for 26,000 Euro - it was in the same condition. Here in Italy Urracos seems to stay for sale for years ... Here are a few more pictures. Cars for France had the rear deck without the louvres but it is different to the ones on the Silhouette or the Jalpa. The early P300s had the chrome bumpers. The four spoke deep dish steering wheel was common to all LHD Urracos and Silhouettes. RHD cars have a different steering wheel. This is the first time I have seen the airbox script on a P300. Until now I thought that they only came on (some) Silhouettes (mine has them).
I can state since buying mine that that steering wheel is the coolest of all Lamborghinis. Feels unlike any other. Fellow Urraco owners? Yes? First time behind the wheel was pretty damn cool, right?
The car isnt practical in ant way Steering wheel are really really cool! One of the things i love about my Urraco. Mine would be up for sale soon btw.. Urraco P250 S 1973.. #15248 silver w black leather interior, with recently rebuilt engine.. Daniel Norway
