    looks great!!! congrats
    color really suits the car

i still think the bravo repro in 15" would look some better (17" are a little to big for the car IMO)

I had considered that but there is so much more tyre choice in 17in. Besides - when I want the car to look original I put the standard 14's on!

This is the only interior shot I have. My vin is 15630. The exhaust is essentially straight through with only 2 small resonators. I'm not a purist but I always make syre that I keep original parts and that any mods I make are easily reversable.

That's one of my other babies! its LP400 0122. It got series one flares etc in the eighties (don't blame me!). When I get some good shots I'll post on the countach thread. It has a set of original bravos but i'm now looking for the 14 x 9.5 with a view of restoring - but I've had no luck - even spoke to Bob Wallace - no one has them!

many thanks for posting the pics guys... urraco pics are hard to come by. they look fantastic in blue, silver, met brown and that strange looking metallic green. still kicking myself for not picking up John Lewis blue P300 when i had a chance.

its been nearly 25 yrs since i last drove a P300 and still remember its banshee like motor vividly. I do recall it being alot more exciting than the P250S. I've never got the chance to sample a P111.

is there a way to tell which cars came the twin remote brake boosters located behind the headlamps?

one of these days i'm going have to scan all my urraco pics and post a few.

    cheers

5 urracos !! that must be some kind of record. I absolutely luv these little V8 gems. some of my thought in additon to well stated comments of david's:

wasnt the red UK car with the canvas sunroof featured in a britsh classiccar magazine a few years back? I recall the owner used it as a camper tow vehicle.

i've driven both a P250S and P300 and the later was better in nearly every way mechanically although i prefer the earlier cars interior with thinner seats and door panels (i do luv P300 shiftgate though) and the cleaner styling of the 2 vent bonnet with chrome bumpers. surprisingly the P300 didnt have brake boosters. i thought all P300 where supposed to come with them but i guess not and the early P250 didnt?

in addition to assorted interiors... there where 4 versions of the black rubber bumpers too. P111 black front bumpers found on the USA spec model, P200, P300 and early Silhouettes. the "late P300" black front bumpers found on the P200, P300, and both P118 type late silh and late jalpa. P111 usa spec black rear bumpers with chrome trim. P300, Silhouette with 2 piece rear black bumpers.

although stated in the Jean-Francois Marchet urraco book that there where a 20mm difference in width between the P300 and P250 body. I find that hard to believe that they would revamp the body tooling after 520 units for a change that is virtually visually identical? the other dimensions may be attributed to different bumpers (length), weight and tire size (height)?

so sad that the silhouette was built in such small numbers. I thought it would have been a great alternative to the ferrari 308 GTS here in the states. I blame the BMW E26 (M1) for that....

    cheers

You should blame the people who decided to take the money of BMW to built the nonsense Cheetah! That was also the reason why BMW got impatient and cancelled the deal with Lambo to build the 400 M1's.
