Gary it's amazing what some people will do to these cars.
That Espada now down at Bobileff's has a somewhat similar story. Badly neglected. So now it will cost a hell of a lot to bring back.

If you have a good Urraco already, this will be a good one for parts. 2-3K will be a great deal.

As I have posted before, I like the idea of what Mario has done......Just strip it and show it.
I would do that with this Uracco BUT I would remove the motor for a clean up and show and then a rebuild down the road.

I was looking through some old photos and came across a few Urraco photos I took at the Monterey Historic's club corrals. The green car photo was taken in 1986. The yellow and red cars were from 1988. Let's just say that at 15-17 years old I was not too good at framing the shot!

Since we normally have a booth at Concorso, and are too beat to then go to the Historics the next day, I have not been for a few years. But I almost always enjoyed the corrals more than the races themselves....

I've had a sweet spot for the Urraco (especially with those chrome euro bumpers) but have only driven one once. That was a family friend's car and that was about a mile! Even when I had a 308QV, I really wanted a Urraco! Although it needs to have those chrome bumpers! When cruising through the Lambo forum, I always check this thread.

I was just curious where those were now... It would be cool to see what has happened to them after 20 something years... I bet they are in better shape than me!

I do not believe he has done anything since getting the car. He is giving the impression he has, to justify the big flip numbers on a car with heavy needs.

I fully agree with your assessment. He does not know much about the car, just a flipper.

I think it is a reasonable price for an Urraco that needs work, perhaps rust repair as well.

I think it's low. Condition not as bad as some others.

The winning bid for the 1974 yellow Urraco on eBay was $13,200. Buy low ($6,500) and sell high ($13,200). 103% profit, a good business model.
