If true, that is a very good price. I was hoping it was worth more, maybe mid 50's or more. Just a very well maintained car in great condition. BUT we're almost at the 50k!........which is were the Countach was 10+yrs ago.... just sayin.
Does anyone know of a good place to get the torque specs and tolerances for the urraco/jalpa engine? Is there a factory manual that covers the engine rebuild in entirety?
The only one that I am aware of is a very crude copy. I bought mine at Books4cars.com. Another place, same manual. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LAMBORGHINI-Urraco-3-Ltr-Shop-manual-/121349738308?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item1c41020f44
Thanks EarlyCat. Even a crude manual is better than nothing. I don't want to guess at torque specs. I could go with "what feels good" but I don't want to take chances on my engine. Much appreciated.
An early Urraco 3000 (#20064) is for sale in Germany. One of the pictures shows an Italver paint sticker. Not sure if this is original as I've never seen this on an Urraco before. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Ahh, the Wheeler Dealer's car. Just sold from Amari in the UK for £56k apparently. He said it went to Switzerland. Where is it then ? Lee
Right! It is currently awaiting for its homologation so it is kept in a dry and warm place! It is really beautiful and actually it is the best original Urraco I have seen by far. I have read so many things about the poor build quality that I was a bit skeptical before seeing it in the flesh. Actually it is really well built, just like the Espada of the same period. Looking forward to enjoying it!
Ive just bought an old Urraco but have virtually no history or info on the car. Its a RHD wreck at the minute but i intend to restore it as near as i can to concourse. All i know is the chassis and engine number. Its a 1973 car and at present is in a badly painted orange. Can anyone help me with how to find what it should look like please. It also has no side repeaters fitted Many thanks Danny
Congratulations. That sounds like a really neat find. Post some pictures, and as Oliver said post the vin.
Good for you! I'd love to buy an Urraco project. It's going to be very expensive. Take your time and by the time you are done in a couple of years, the car will be worth more money.
I guess its the RHD that was for sale here in Denmark? If so the add is still up: Lamborghini Urraco P250 - Right hand drive SOLD (1973) on Car And Classic UK [C524170] Needs a LOT of TLC and work.
