Hei, great Sound. My engine has done 6000km (3700mls) after the complete overhaul. I set the red line at 6000rpm. Temperature ist OK, oil pressure great, well synchronised carbs. All works fine. What do you think? I changed all hollow stem valves into stainless steel ones. Their weight is 18g (approx 0.5 oz) more each. Theoretically you need stronger valve springs to be sure that the valves operate fast enough at full throttle. Right? Martin.
I have mild steel headers and Quicksilver stainless exhaust. Suggest you speak to Colin... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I would recommend Stebro but as stated right above it sound like they are no more. I have not studied or researched Urraco exhaust in many year and do not know what is out there. I will say this, and most of you will agree, that motor is so unique that I wish a company would spend a lot of time developing a system because the potential sounds that would come of it would be amazing. I mean, not just bend a system but really develop using an Urraco. Just my opinion. Here's a video from a fellow Urraco owner SkogensBaron. I have not seen anything posted by him so I hope he still has it. Not sure if he was here or on Lpower.

15694 sold on BAT for US$54,000. Good car with needs. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-lamborghini-urraco/
Hei, V8 lambo. Sounds like an expensive winter project. Ich feel with you. Ich had water in oil in 2015....
I’m afraid yes MARTIN but I hope of my all risk insurance by Belmot. I will report. Nice color on your car
Hei V8 Lambo. Colour is said to be unique on the Urraco. In factory records it is named "Rosso Speciale". The LP400 Countach #1120056 owned by Albert Silvera has the same colour. http://thoughts.onthedash.com/thoughts/countach_onthedash/ I am interested in the outcome of the Belmot all Risk insurance. I have the same, but my engine rebuild had been a success until now... Is your car placed in Germany? Talk soon, Martin
In the context of paint colours the word 'speciale' means 'non standard' so it is not a given that two 'rosso speciale' colours are the same. Regarding 1120056 I have myself seen 'rosso K350' written against this car and some claim that the colour was 'rosso dino'. I do think that the colour of your car is unique for an Urraco but it is probably a PPG standard colour, perhaps rosso Miura...
