Has anyone in the US received information on base Pisa MSRP and options pricing yet? Some dealers seem to get information sooner than others, similar to how some got the configurator sooner than others.

Car and Driver article and first drive out today states US base price is $369,750. That's 50% up on base price of 488 coupe and 25% up on Speciale.

I am not surprised, even though after sharpening my calculations, the actual price increase (Pista vs GTB) is 40% in France (at €317K vs €226K).
As I mentioned in other threads, apart from the value for money assessment, it also questions the potential upside on the Pista list price, considering that the Speciale (which was initially more reasonably priced) is only selling at about MSRP now (which is a very good achievement, but would not make money to anybody).

Keep in mind that Pista price includes many typical "options" as standard, so easy to expect them to be less than $400K nicely optioned. Even that is a bit far fetched in pricing.

In reality, it's around 15-20% higher than a GTB, once you add in Shields, CF LED wheel, CF bridge, CF seats and interior bits, forged wheels, etc, to the 488 GTB. Posted this months ago and got flamed.

You are correct, assuming this will be the case here in the US. Let’s hope. We won’t really know for certain until the official packaging and options pricing is released.

Regarding the price that Car and Driver quoted, it may be correct and it may not be. Until I hear it quoted from my dealer I won’t believe it for certain.

    well....there is this article that says $256 base...June 2018.

BTW, I was told that the price is in line with the difference between the 458 vs Speciale. +10% before options. You can get a very nice 812 for less than $400k with options.

Going back to historical pricing trends the all in with options average price for a Pista will be...
    mid $300s. Most around $350k.

I hope for all US buyers that is true, in the middle east a practically fully optioned Pista would set you back around (without the Carbon rims) $440,000 and a starting basic price of $360,000 with the below mandatory options.

This is definitely not the case in Europe, I would have taken one otherwise. I was even ready for a 20% to 30% increase vs the GTB but not the 40% we got here in France (it's the same all over Europe).
Base price €317K, and with limited options (I am very shy on options, I only spent €10K on my GTB) I reached €340K on my tentative configuration.

Not sure if it’s the same for your location, but in US, Speciale are still commanding a decent chunk over MSRP. Only high mileage and bloated specs (which is an MSRP if about $380K or higher) are selling for around MSRP

Speciales are still + $30-75k. SAs are 700k...so, the 458 Speciales are not losing value. Incredible keeper cars if there ever was one...

In Europe there are lots for sale, which may explain the different situation regarding actual prices: https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/search.html?damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&isSearchRequest=true&makeModelVariant1.makeId=8600&makeModelVariant1.modelDescription=speciale&makeModelVariant1.modelId=2&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=searchNetGrossPrice&sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING
The Apertas are still far above MSRP, but prices have dropped significantly compared to the highs.
I suspect the high number of cars for sale is because the downward trand has been identified by owners who want to get the cash before the prices go further down, but this does not help the market.

I know for a fact that dealers are paying more than both of those numbers. Call those sellers back and offer to buy. PM for a dealer that I know is looking for cars...

On the Speciale: in Switzerland, I see a bit more cars for sale since the Pista was launched, but the asking price are actually higher than what I paid for mine second hand 3 years ago.
On Pista pricing: problem is not so much that the base price is high. It is that they give you "for free" half of the outside carbon elements, so that you pretty much have to buy the rest (or give up on this free carbon and put black plastic everywhere). Even without taking carbon wheels, but with a special painting (giallo triplo strato) and a stripe, all carbon outside, and a few pretty much mandatory comfort options, I already ended up with $100k of options...

The $630 was from a large dealer in Cali. The $600 was from a boutique dealer in Cali. This is about 6 months ago. The wholesale # on the SA is a 5 handle. If dealer pays more it’s simply bc he has a buyer committed. No successful dealer would floor stock an SA at a 6 handle.

local dealer sold one last month for near 700
The same dealer has one incoming that will have the same asking....other dealers also asking and selling in the same range. The difference between wholesale and retail is always smaller when there is no problem selling the car. $25-35k difference.
I too am casually looking and have tracked the sales.
Side note, Speciale prices are holding strong. If anything they are firm and maybe increasing.
    Hope this helps!

FoW has one well below 700 asking. They trade in the low to mid 600s depending on condition, mileage, location, etc. Either way they are bringing a hefty premium and I doubt this will change. Beautiful cars.
