I recently had to pull off the louvres that are behind the rear wheels. When I went to put them on I noticed that the size of the holes on the Louvres were considerably smaller than the ones on the car itself and it’s becoming a problem.

From what I can tell, the standard rivets don’t seem to produce a shop tail large enough to hold the two pieces together. Furthermore, when I attempted to use tinnerman nuts with sheet metal screws to no avail. Now, I thought about trying to find these large flange rivets through Ferrari sources to get an idea of what the factory used so I can order custom rivets but I’ve reached a dead end... there are no IPB tables that even show the louvres

Has anyone here been able to reinstall these without modification? Any help would be appreciated!

I've used small, thin washers on both sides of the rivets when I've had the problem of holes being too big for rivets to hold something.

I used black rivets, 1/8”dia .063-.125 material thickness, 0.4” long. Worked perfectly with original holes.
Got 250 pieces from McMaster-Carr (part #97526A130) for around $12.
I originally tried the 0.275" long rivets, but they were too short for most holes.
