"FRANKFURT, Germany - The U.S. dollar strengthened against the 12-nation euro on Thursday even as the European Central Bank raised interest rates for the first time in five years. The euro was at $1.1734 in late New York trading, down from $1.1791 late in New York on Wednesday. The British pound rose to $1.7310 from $1.7290 the night before, while the dollar bought 120.46 yen, a two- year high, up from 119.81 in New York. The dollar rose to 1.3176 Swiss francs from 1.3147, but fell to 1.1639 Canadian dollars from 1.1645."

A friend pointed out the 430 is up over 27% over a 2000 MY 360. This doesn't include the effect of no longer having Luxo Tax. Perhaps the strong dollar will hold the line on 2006 Ferrari pricing.

Sorry, byut the USD is still very weak! The plan was a 1:1 dollar vs. Euro. i remember a Euro being $0.87 or less. The 1:1 would be more ideal IMHO.

In fact when the Euro was launched the level is exactly what it is today, 1 Euro = $1.17, so it has been up and down and now back to the start.

been following the euro and CAD too. Funny how the CAD has fallen to a low I've not seen in years. I remember awhile back it traded at like $1.65 or thereabouts.

In 1999, I went to Europe, and recall the Euro being .87 per dollar.

Same here, it was much better that way! Last time I went to Germany though, the euro was around $1.17, and the difference was noticable.
