There is a picture missing, a very important one in my opinion. The whole aluminum frame was there. It is supposedly 40 percent stiffer than that of the Maranello. The clincher is that it is larger, stronger, yet lighter. I was able to pick up the front with one hand. Now that was impressive! aehaas
Ali, Here are two shots. I didn't post because they're kind of blurry. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Trying to get that thing home undamaged on the plane was a nightmare. Felt like Ben Stiller in meet the parents with his carry-on luggage.
Haha! I know what you mean. It was tricky to say the least. Fortunatly it is and I'm going out to the store to purchase a frame for that and for the MC12 lithograph I got from before.
I got all the pics uploaded from the par-tay, check them out! http://www.switchcars.com/forum/photos/switchcars_photos/category1030.aspx
I stopped at the Pebble Beach post office (right near the first tee) the next day and bought a cardboard mailing tube. Got to remember that trick for next year! Gio P
Yes Hugo, they provided a number of things. Of course, you had to ask... Copies of Rosso covering the 599 and a lithograph were available. But the coolest thing was an 80 page hardbound book on the car. Its gorgeous - a real prize..... Jon Image Unavailable, Please Login
Son of a! I got both Rosso and the litograph, but didn't ask about the hardbound book until Sunday when I was walking past the tent and they were shutting down. They said they didn't have any. I did get a nice hardbound book from Maybach on the 57S.
Just wondering, do you think you can order a US 599 with euro delivery and get LC? The fact that the US cars dont come with LC is a bummer.
Some shots i took of the 2 599's which were at Pebble waiting to be put back on there car carriers. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
