    hi can someone explain the rules with US salvage title if exporting to the UK. Is the salvage title transferred to the DVLA in the UK or wiped? the car in question was salvaged due to it being uneconomical at the time to repair, it is viable now and there is not structural damage making it unsafe.

    Not sure about your side of the pond with a salvage title.

    How to Import a car to the UK from the US

    the vehicle will come to you with the Title from the state that the car was in.

    I imported a car to the USA from Japan and when I went to title and register it I turned in my Japanese title that was in my name already as I lived in Japan.

    But your local vehicle registry should be able to answer these questions without any issue.
