    Man, the US is getting beat in every aspect of the game. I realize they aren't in the same league as the Spaniards, but man it's a drubbing - they look like college players in comparison.

    I didn't see all of it, but the US was certainly given a soccer lesson from what I saw...... You've gotta remember though that Spain are the best on the planet right now - You could make an argument that anyone would look like kids playing 'em - They're that good!

    Were the squads at full strength in terms of starting players. With the MLS just starting and the European leagues finishing up, that could make a difference. I didn't get a chance to see the game.

    I believe Spain started pretty much the "real" squad.....

    I don't think any of the players listed above would have made much of a difference though - They were simply outclassed.

    The Euro season is done (always finishes with the Champions League Final). MLS *must* release any players requested by their national teams - As long as they're not "injured" ;)
