Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I am trying to build a registry to see how many of the Ferrari 360 Modena with a sunroof were imported to the USA. I have read articles that said that the total number for the USA was 12 of the 25 produced for the entire world but I believe there are more than 12. If you would please provided your Year, VIN, if gated or F1, description, and a possible picture that would be wonderful.

Here is what I have researched and found so far for the USA market:

I have a 2001 sunroof car in Canada, originally delivered in Ontario. Argento Nurburgring with Rosso interior and Daytona seats.

Thank you. Are you ok with sending me the VIN so I can add it to the list I’ve found so far?

There used to be a person, Trouts10, who purchased a gated sunroof car from IAG. I also bought my car from IAG and was curious about their experience. You could try tracking that one down if you haven't already. I haven't seen them post recently and do not know what became of that car.

This is a great idea. I've tried to find information on the true numbers and it's extremely difficult. Even the Ferrari dealership was unsure exactly how to proceed. I'm the 4th owner of a 2001 360 with a factory sunroof which the original owner bought factory shipped from Ferrari SF. I'd like to be part of this registry and will message you.

Is that the one that was for sale last year on autotrader?

Sounds like a perfect thing to do on vinwiki

Word on the street is there are something like 25 ever made world wide but I have probably seen half of them in the last 6 months so I feel like there must be more. (Heck there’s one posted a few post below)

Couldn't tell you if it was ever listed on A/T. I bought it from the original owner last month.

I went through this task about 12-15 years ago

There were about 12 cars in the US I had come across

Unfortunately I can't find that info to add to your findings

Would you consider the sunroof 360 collectible or demand a premium?

I would say due to the limited number made, yes.

It's one of those things that's definitely "neat', but I don't really see a premium being paid for this. My first Ferrari was my sunroof 360 (Argento Nurburgring with Bordeaux leather), the only sunroof 360 to ever have been sold in the Canadian market. Neat car, but the previous owner had a heck of a time trying to sell it despite it being a no-stories car.

I converted it from F1 to gated and it sold within a week for great money, but that was largely due to the gearbox, service history and overall condition, and not the sunroof.

I agree that gated (6 Speed) cars can get a higher premium than a F1 car. I also feel that due to them being very rare, that they will generate a small premium. My 360 is gated with the sunroof option. I also just completed the Ferrari Classiche certification on it.

I think currently it's an under-appreciated option because it adds nothing to performance and the look is innocuous enough. But I think further down the line as more years pass the uniqueness of the 360 sunroof will play a larger role when it comes to value in the market. It really is a great option and perfect for the 360 styling in my opinion!

I have a 2000 in Argento Nurburgring with bourdeaux interior and Daytona seats. It was an F1 but had a conversion with an authentic Ferrari gearbox (so I was told - but can’t confirm. I realize that makes no difference). It’s a Canadian car - vin: ZFFYU51A4Y0120585

You can probably ask the previous owner in post #17?
