I suppose it depends on options and which currency you're talking bout about. In Australia, $600-640k I'd say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Average used prices that I've seen is $420,000 Cheapest I've seen is $398,000 US with a high of $438,000 US I've only seen one used in Canada for $430,000 CDN, but it sold within days.
That's pretty cool... Its nice to know there is a premium. Now to slowly watch that premium disappear.
I am in the US, and been on a wait list. My dealer told me yesterday that it ain't gonna happen. So I started shopping for used ones right away... Found one with a little over 2k miles that can be bought for $30k over sticker. After looking at the car and learning about the previous owner, I feel pretty good about it. I hate paying a premium (I have never done it before). But this car is spec'd out almost identical to what I had planned to order, so sort of feel like it's "meant to be." Feeling a little foolish for paying $30k over, but after reading these posts, I'm starting to feel a little better about it...
There was one with as I recall 325 miles for 374k USD. However it was silver with red inside and that red covered just about every surface possible... Grigio Ferro Speciale with one thousand miles was a much nicer color combination but more money to. Also the yellow with a black roof and matching wheels so there are a number of choices that can still be found and in some cases very low mileage; the lowest being only 229 miles.
The Canada Speciale (Rosso Scuderia with black stripes?) was for sale and then picked up by the Ferrari dealer and re-sold. That one was an early delivery then sold with 1,700 kilometers.
I have a brand new, never been driven, Speciale that I would sell to somebody with an Aperta allocation that doesn't feel like waiting.
Lake Forest Sports Cars just had a 2014 with under 2000 miles with a listed price of $349k. Inventory
Nice! LFSC are a great group of people. I was browsing the showroom there back in February. I think that was the one I saw. If you're local I'd love to check it out sometime. I'm always looking from some others to join in on a ride out in the country northwest of Chicago too. Enjoy!
Thank you so much! Yeah, I've known Rick for almost 20 years, the Mancusos are the best! For about 10 years, I was in banking and we were their bank. They run a first class business and are great people.
Amazing how speciales are going strong above sticker price. I wonder when they are going to start depreciating...I'm definatly keeping an eye on them.
Obviously they are a long way from going down, as they appear to be still going up.... If you go to Ferrari of Austin's web site, the price has been increased from $349,995 to $389,995: Used Vehicles at Ferrari of Austin, Texas
Thinking of selling my Speciale - haven't had time to drive it with a new business venture taking off (and have other F cars that aren't getting attention either). Willing to make a good deal - PM for details.
