Interesting. He calls it a carb conversion kit but it's throttle bodies for injection. Comes with cams! Cheap!

What's that designed to fit? 308QV? If so, will it bolt onto the 3.2? (not the cams, naturally)

I thought so to until I started adding up what's not there. I don't see the air horns which are $200 each x 4, no linkage, no injectors, and what condition is the unit overall? As Tillman said what's up with the cams?

It is a 2 valve 308 set up according to the manifolds in the picture. Linkage is an issue as TWM will take for ever to make a linkage unless you buy a complete package from them. Air horns are not included & as in the previous post are costly.

Personally I would rather use the aluminum fuel line between the throttles the way mine is set up as it is a cleaner look, the other issue is that you must use at least a one inch spacer between the manifold the throttles & spend allot of time on getting the linkage correct & making sure you have WOT when the gas pedal is down all the way. After you do all that you have very little room for air cleaners, so you better cut a hole in your deck lid or build up the inner part of the deck lid for a taller center section.

For a street car DYI EFI you are better off with a single throttle body as it will be allot easier to install even though you may loose a few ponies compared to ITF injection you will have allot less custom fabrication. Also keep in mind you need to sync all 4 throttles to be as close a possible mechanically, with a single throttle body you only have the one to worry about.

Is there any possibility of of making the TWM linkage work on a 328? I'm guessing not but thought I would ask.

Sure you can, you just need to make few more parts than usual.
Even still the TWM linkage really isn't a plug and play affair. I spent close to 10hrs setting up the TWM linkage and even then I still needed to make a few custom parts. it's not the best arrangement used and getting rid of the linkage bind thru the throttle range is a real PITA!

once you've got the linkage set to work, then you setup the bodies you'll need at least 2 'D' type TPS's to read the resistance without effecting the play at idle and set them to spec. then adjust the second set that carries on the 1st while making sure that the TPS values stay within spec and margin of each other. once that's done then you'll need to use a weber flow meter and adjust the idle bleed screws to get them all sync'd.

as with any EFI engine it'll take a few go arounds to get the idle where you want it, and that'll require going around the above cycle a few times, depending on how anal you are about it.

and for some reason they have sleeved bushings on the throttle shafts that are not retained by anything and work their way out causing problems with idle since it's a manifold leak.

hmm.... now I'm thinking maybe just EFI and a MAF, for me, with the original throttle body but I don't imagine you would gain much over a properly working CIS...

there's another thread here where we're talking about that. the gains are actually a lot more than you'd think. the 2v will pick up 30hp along with a much flatter tq curve of about 165tq from 2.5k~ 6k at the wheels.

And that is before you put in a decent set of cams that will work with efi and not with CIS....

With the original single throttle body? I thought you could pick up about 30hp only with four dual throttle bodies.
