    According to Fox an inside source told them, that Bernie made a one year only deal with the Speedway to host the 2007 USGP. No official confirmation so far and no date set.

    That's kinda how I interpret the one year deal: Bernie wanted to move on to Las Vegas, but it isn't ready. Yet.

    Don't know why Bernie would want Vegas. Road America, The Glen, or Laguna Seca.....

    Road America is where F1 SHOULD have gone after the Glen....

    I'm not too keen on them leaving Indy. If anything, have two US races...one east one west.

    Last week sometime I read an article where speculation might have the USGP on 24 June with Canada being the week prior. ONLY SPECULATION.

    I'm thinking Bernie wants to see how the Champ car race pans out in the streets of Vegas. That might be a good venue to hold a F1 race in the future.

    BTW: Vegas also has a road track on which F1 cars run year long. Just in case you were wondering.

    Glad to hear it. Typical Bernie with a 1 year deal, then if he doesn't bail for a better option he can still raise his ransom, er... I mean fee.

    Why? Were they taken in Ralf's motorhome? Could you see much of the race or did the pillows block the view?
