    I can tell you I have a legitimate investor in hand that was willing to finance the whole enchilada or any portion if they needed help. When I discussed this with the partners they said thanks but they already had all of their financing in place. However, for phase 2.....

    I'd like to know if the promoters have EVER put on a race... ANY race.....

    throw out the... design, build, test.. the track portion of it all....

    have they ever organized and put on an event?

    Tavo Hellmund was on Wind Tunnel right after the original announcement. Dave Despain asked him about his promotional eperience. He currently promotes races in nearby at Thunderhill speedway in nearby Kyle, Tx. I remember reading somewhere that his father was the promoter of the Mexico City CART races in the early 1980's, but I'm unable to re-find that article.

    My opinion is that promoting races on a 3/8 mile paved oval is the same as no experience at all when it comes to promoting an F1 race.
