USGP LIVE RADIO BROADCAST

Just an FYI for those traveling in, local radio statio WIBC 1070 AM broadcasts the race live. A walkman type radio with headphones is a great tool at the track for keeping up on things.

 

It is actually the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's own broadcast network and team making the call. Same crew pretty much that does the 500 race radio broadcast.

Here, I found the details:

United States Grand Prix spectators and Indianapolis-area residents can listen to the race live beginning at 12:30 p.m. on radio station WIBC-AM 1070 with coverage provided by the IMS Radio Network. IMS Radio Network's USGP coverage team is Mike King, host; Dan Knutson and Kevin Lee will announce from the booth; Chris Denari, Bob Jenkins, Mark Jaynes and Jerry Baker will serve as course announcers; and Dave Wilson will report from the paddock.
