My regular S/F line penthouse seat tickets arrived today, and as promised, the two freebies from Michelin were enclosed. Those seats were not penthouse, but stiil good seats.

There was an announcement also in the package from the Speedway, that they were not going to accept renewals for 2007, as the USGP at Indianapolis is uncertain as of now. That would be a bummer, there is no other facility in the US that would be to F1 standards so this would mean no F-1 again. Please, no Las Vegas, that would be pathetic.

Not sure yet if I am selling them, one of members of the club I am in indicated interest. If they don't take them them I probably will sell them. They are high up in the Paddock stand which is opposite the pits and the S/F line. They have a face value of $85.

Part of the deal that was originally agreed shortly after the 2005 non-event, the tickets just now being mailed. They had to do something to avoid the lawsuits from their complete stupidity.

If anyone else has their extra tickets and doesn't want to use them, I might be interested if my dad gives me permission to go :(

Here we go again, so if not at Indy, then where ?

Elkhart Lake, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, Sears Point, Laguna Seca... or some home-built track built inside of California Speedway... I'd even settle for a return to LB.

Sadly, it's not a question of best facility available, it's a question of most $$$ available.
