The guilt has set in, I can't miss another Father's Day. So I will have to give up the tickets I have had since the first USGP at Indy. There are two (2) seats, Paddock Penthouse, Section B15, Seats 5-6. Face: $300 total. This is right at the start/finishh line, opposite the Jumbotron TV, Victory Circle, and also close to the Ferrari Pits. Seats are under cover, so if it rains, you will not get very wet. I am also canceling my room at the Marriot NW. If anyone is interested, let me know.
Either TAKE your father, or let one of your kids TAKE YOU, whichever situation was creating the guilt!
I sold 4 in almost the exact same place on ebay for over retail. I just wanted to not loose too much, but ended up making a profit. http://www.ferrarichat.com/pp-classifieds/showproduct.php?product=259&sort=1&cat=5&page=1
When I made my plans to go this year, I didn't realize it was Fathers day that weekend. I also brain farted that Saturday the 18th is my anniversary. I've never felt so bad about going somewhere before!
A couple of years ago I decided to not use my seat in the section by Turn 1 and switched to a seat in the Penthouse Paddock across from the pits after checking out both areas during the practice sessions on Friday and Saturday. While you don't have as good a view of Turn 1, it is more than made up by being able to see the action in the pits. After seeing some of the prices around the world for tickets to Formula 1, the USGP at Indy is the great bargain of them all. John
Funny, we're doing the opposite this year. We usually watch qualifying with the FerrariChat crowd in turn one, but our season tickets have been s/f. I enjoy those seats, but this year we wanted to try turn 1 for the actual race too.
We were in T1 last year, will be there again this year.. Great seats, lots of action in front of us, couldn't imagine more action occurring in the pits.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
