Finally got my custom made models from Cavallino, based on my previous and current Fcars. Many thanks to fellow Canadian Fchatter JOEV for all his help in introducing me to the many variables of model types and options, and helping in the ordering process...and thanks to Rita at Cavallino for getting the order out with a minimum of hassles. As with anytime I include pics, please forgive my shabby photographic skills..I hardly do these babies justice.

The 550 had modular wheels, sheilds, personalized Ontario plates as well as a pozzi blue exterior, while the 355 had Ontario plates, sheilds, fire extinguisher as well as a nero Daytona exterior w/ burgundy interior(you aint finding that combo on the store shelves, lol)

Really nice models steve!!! Are you going to put that 1/18 scale 550 on the dash of your real 550? :D

Models look good, but the paint is way too thick! Headlights are burried under the paint on 355.

Nice cars! But why does the 550 only have one mirror? Please don't tell me its the same on your real one! ;)

Yea I am sure the car HAD 2 mirrors, but the pics at the start of this thread showed the car now without it.

The picture that I have of the model before it was packed and shipped, I am also puzzled. Unless it fell off and he took pictures before putting it back on. I hope this is the case.

Or maybe it is because of behavior like this ;)

    wow, very observant...

Yes, Rita is correct..it did have two mirrors...but one fell/broke off on the passanger side after a photo-op..it was delivered fine though....

I just superglued it back on and voila...no problem! :)

LOL, no, the 1:1 is still intact...I'd venture they tend to be a little bit more sturdy than a model under most handling conditions.

However, the real one has more road rash than the model....seems each car has its own advantages

I know what you mean, cause I actually have a 1/18 replica of my dad's 550 too. Paid some model guy to do it for me. No pics yet though since its like 2am over here, will post some tomorrow!
Though there ain't much road rash on my dad's real one since its barely ever on the road :(

Now that in itself is a crime...."better to have driven and suffered road rash, than to have never driven at all....."

Maybe your dad will let you give it a work out...tell him its your duty as an Fchatter. The more you drive them, the better they perform...thats a fact!
This way, it will be ready for him when he does decide to unleash it...

Thank you for the info. I thought that I was going blind, sending you a model with one mirror. Glad that you were able to glue it back together.

Again, thank you for the business.

Geez, what a way to encourage patricide..."You can take my keys from my cold, dead hands!"

Anyways, nice car and model....good luck snagging the keys!
I would have suggested grabbing the keys when he's sleeping, but those tubis double as an excellent alarm clock ;)
