    Hi everyone, new to the forum and thought I'd seek out some help from the experts. Ive collected 1:18 scale model cars for many years, but as the collection grew, I decided to really concentrate on my favourites. Obviously Ferrari is my favourite brand and I have been collecting various models exclusively in Rosso Corso. As I was looking through some of my boxes in storage that had some other models, I came across a UT F355 Spider in yellow. I can't remember where or when I got this. I've tried to find out more information on it, but there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. I know UT is out of business. From the bits and pieces I can gather, apparently this Yellow F355 with black interior is hard to find.

    Could anyone help enlighten me as to if this is indeed a hard to find piece and what sort of value is on a model like this? The reason I ask is that when I mentioned to a colleague at work, he seemed very interested in the model. So much so, that it peaked my interest. Anyways, he has models that I want and we figured we could do a trade. Just trying to figure out its value so that we can make a fair trade for both of us.

    Hello and welcome.

    Nice little collection you have there mate, I collect ALL red 1:18 Ferrari model cars myself. Have over 60 of them now, but have not had a chance to display them yet. :eek:

    Your 355 Spider is kinda rare in that colour combo. But the yellow/tan is a lot more rare and you don't see them come up for sale too often.

    I would value your 355 Spider at around $80.

    The yellow/tan 355 Spider around $100.

    Those prices would be pretty close to what I have seen them sell for over the last 4-5 yrs online.

    +1 on the value, yellow/tan is more rare. I bought a yellow/black for $50 a few months ago.

    Any ideas as to where to attempt to find a 348 Spider - Red/Tan color combo? Seems like that would be the most common color combo.

    With Kyosho releasing their version fairly shortly, I'd sell UT if the price is right.
