Why go for it on 4th and 2 on the 40 yard line and give it up on downs? A out of bounds punt putting the ball inside the 10 would have been a better game plan as the clock was thin already.

Great game regardless of any errors in calls by officials. Great players on both sides and Texas won fair and square. That last run was truly great. What a player. Bush's diving TD was one of the most entertaining runs I've ever seen. Very entertaining game.
Great game! I was rooting for SC in sympathy for a friend, but UT played just that much better and deserved it.
The lateral one. Where VY was down before he lateraled it. I couldn't really care, USC had many chances to seal this game. It was theirs to lose.
Ahhh USC should've had it! But a great game anyways. SC was one fourth down conversion from winning it... sooo close. I haven't felt that excited about a game in a long time.
No more questions about if USC is the best of all time, no doubt Nebraska 95 is, was the BEST TEAM EVER! And it really hurts me to say this but good job steers! Now you only have to wait another 45 years to win another National Championship!
It was a bad call, but had it been reviewed and overturned, UT would've had the ball at around the 10 with a first down. My guess is that they would've had a TD regardless because of all the momentum they had at the time. USC was doing poorly during that 2nd quarter and UT was all over the place in charge of everything. No one will ever know what would've happened if it was overturned though... The game was great and a lot more than I expected at the end of the first quarter. Vince Young is an awesome QB and I wish he would go to the NFL next year, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I think Reggie is overrated based on the number of Heisman votes he had versus everyone else. I would take Vince over Reggie if Vince entered the draft. You can't pass up a QB like that.
It was an incredible game! Man o man o man o man o man! The girlfriend says she had faith in the horns (she's an alumni), but I said, nah, they got Vince Young. I thought that comment he made at the end was poor sportsmanship too. What a ***** he was. Everyone else had great comments.
