Supposedly that car (Nurburgring edition) runs a 7:14 on the 'Ring...or, faster than anything else Ferrari or Porsche produces. Ouch...$445,000 for the Nurbugring edition: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1044961_lexus-announces-pricing-on-2012-lfa-nurburgring-package-f-sport-upgrades
^That is really quick. I hadn't heard of the Nurburgring edition until you pointed it out. I think the standard LF-A did a 7:30 and was beat by a number of cars half it's price or more. They were able to chop quite a bit of time off.
Even more impressive is the owner brought her little girl to act as co-pilot even though she could barely see out the passenger window lol BTW 3 LFA's two Nurburgring editions one normal (if there is any such thing!)
I took a few of them at fast pass, when they came to Logan for lunch. Sure wish they had announced this event locally for more to see the autos. I can't seem to attach them to this reply, will have to post them elsewhere and link back.....sorry The Black Merci won the people choice award, congrats to Doug. Cheers, GREG
