Well picture this, nice blue sky, open almost traffic free road with very minimal(read no police) and a group of Ferraris and Maserati's. I was a passenger in the back of a Gransport and let me tell you it was one of the best runs I have ever had in a car, the space to really push the GS, the place to hear the roar of the engine for more than a few seconds at a time....the place to explore the high speed handling and stability.

Firstly its very comfy in the back of a GS, much better than some saloons I have been in and after a 1 hour ride I felt great.

The feeling as the GS was redlined in 4th and 5th gears.....the roar of the exhuast behind me, the wheat fields flashing by, well it can be be described as a feeling of being utterly free, free of those things that constrain us. Free to reallt explore and enjoy the power and speed of the GS.

I am sure there are some envious people and yeh living in Africa has its cons but great free roads arent one of them....The sight and sound of the 3 Maseratis must have been acceptional to those we passed. More interestingly we had swooms of females remark on how the blue Gransport was by far the more cool car....they openly adored it...

As for speed we hit 250 km/h at which speed the GS is very stable....honestly for about 40 min we never went slower than 180 km/h......

Just thought I would share perhaps give some of you that feeling of libreration...

Yeh and this GS usaully spends its life as a city car, you cant beleive how much louder it was after the carbon had been cleaned out......
And the GS is much quicker than the Mas spider from around 5000 rpm....
