I have a 1984 308qv euro model. Does anyone know how many belts I need and what numbers and also any interchange numbers water a /c and alt thanks
Post #2 in this thread shows the two possible set-ups you might have on your 308QV (2 v-belts or 3 v-belts) -- just compare to what you have: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89501 Do a search on "gates belt" and read those 60 threads But the short answer is that unless you have a very easy connection to a Gates industrial (not automotive) distributor (or you don't value your time ) it's better to just buy from RicambiAmerica, TRutlands, etc. IMO.
Update on my belt issue thread from last Jan: Brian from Ted Rutlands came thru with a complete update kit. It took about a month and a half and even digging thru car parts from far away as California but he got it all. I had it put on in early spring and (so far) the problem is solved. I know I already thanked you about 3 dozen times up in Virginia at the FCA national, Brian, but once again THANK YOU!!! I am one happy 2 belt 308 owner!
